“Sand to Snow” is the emotional journey of 3 friends who embarked on a life changing journey to prove to the people of their country that anything is possible.
This story takes place in the Caucasus region in Russia and begins the day that war erupted between Russia and Georgia. “Sand to Snow” features Omar Samra, the first Egyptian to summit Mt. Everest and his dream to share his passion for living with 2 of his closest friends. The film reveals a very human and emotional side of mountaineering and explorations.
