FindingLife introduces optional charitable fundraising and awareness campaigns which unfold during expeditions. This provides an opportunity for students to connect with remote people, learn about their challenges and directly contribute in meaningful and lasting ways. Students work together and with their communities to meet goals thereby demonstrating leadership, teamwork and cooperation, empathy, responsible citizenship and perseverance.
Although participation is not mandatory, our fundraising campaigns are a powerful component of our expeditions. Through compelling storytelling and utilizing the latest virtual reality technology students learn about challenges other people face and can create meaningful and lasting connections with communities abroad.
Engaged students can record and monitor their actions using the FindingLife platform. By sharing their contributions with peers and their communities students inspire others to also take constructive and compassionate actions.
Through the power of student, teacher, parent and community collaboration, FindingLife campaigns have raised money for a variety of humanitarian causes. This includes providing a well for orphaned children in Kathmandu, building classrooms in Kenya and replacing damaged schools in Nepal after the devastating Earthquake that struck the region in 2015.
